The process for this candy drawing was actually a lot harder than I thought it would be. Positioning the pieces of candy seemed to be the hardest part, because I wanted to capture all the details of every piece but yet i wanted to organise it in a way where it looked naturally thrown together. The shading was simpler than i thought. using the color wheel palette really help capture where the light and dark parts were on every piece. To draw and shade the drawing, it took longer than most of my art projects but it was worth it for the turn out.
I learned that by using the colors next to the main color on the color palette really helps the dark and light spots. I thought at first i would just lighten or darken the one color tone, but by using blue and adding purples to make it darker and greens to lighten it... the project truly turned out better!!!
