I think the hardest part of this project was trying to come up with an idea where the shape would look similar to the shape of the letter A.I ended up coming up with the Eiffel Tower. I really like Paris and the Eiffel Tower so it worked perfectly. My next step was drawing it out in a rough draft format. The next hardest part I had to do, was decide the size I wanted this t be: small, big, or medium. From there, I chose big and covered the large poster board thing in ripped up newspaper and paper bag. This really looked good once I was done, but thats wasn't all. From there I drew out my Eiffel Tower on the newspaper collage in a large scale. I used the ink to paint it over the pencil. It looked so good once the entire thing was complete!
I learned about the structure of the Eiffel Tower while making this piece. I also learned about the ink dye and how to use it properly. This was only my second time ever using the ink in one of my art pieces and I think I'm getting better with it. I really liked this project and I wouldn't change anything about the way it turned out.
...and yes, Sam and Justin did photo bomb this pic! :)
